Hamnoy village, Norway One thing I would say is that it’s quite far east from Reykjavik, so unless you’re already planning on visiting this region of Iceland it can end up being a very long trek. Now, it’s best to visit Stokksnes on a clear day – this is when you’ll get the best views for sure.
